Prior to meeting David, my wife and I met with two separate architects. Both architects either seemed disinterested or lead us to believe we could do whatever we wanted with our property. Then we met David.

David is extremely thoroughly, punctual and reliable. His plans were drawn to what some of the builders I’ve met described as "the most detailed” they had seen. If ever I needed to ask David a question, I was impressed with his level of detail and prompt response.

David also explained the process, step by step enabling me to have more of an understanding of building regulations and procedures etc.

David also recommended the builder we are using now who I am extremely pleased with.

Dave did an excellent job with the planning stage of our project, which was a rear extension, completing all the required forms and submissions for approval - this was completely touch free for us. We were kept constantly informed of where we were in the process.

I found Dave to be both personable and professional. I was having a re-modelling a of a bungalow including a loft conversion. He spent a morning explaining what he would provide, with examples, and finding out what I wanted to do with the house, all under no obligation.
Once the contract was confirmed, he visited again with the surveying equipment, and spent several hours mapping the house out. He explained what would happen at each stage and the expected timeline involved. I received a PDF of the draft plans, which I proofed, and after a few corrections, which Dave did quickly with no fuss, submitted for the certificate of lawful development. This went through without a hitch, and once received, he drew up the building regs plans, which again once submitted passed.
I would highly recommend DSB Property designs as Dave ensured the process was stress free. Every time I needed to contact him I either got straight through to him, or his associate, or left a message which was always returned either the same day or the day after.

Having never had any architechtural/building work done before, we were very trepidatious about starting the large extension to our home. However, a friend recommended DSB Property Designs and we took the plunge.
Wow! The planning and meticulous survey and measuring of my property meant that Dave could produce excellent plans and actually gave us three options for the layout of our proposed extension. He explained what his costs would be at each stage and he pushed our plans through the local planning department, without a hitch.

They also, have been absolutely excellent and supplied the expertise to ensure our build has gone without a hitch. They have a real can-do attitude. Gerry and his son Bradley who run the business do everything to a very high standard and employ electricians, plasterers and plumbers who share their ethos. The quality of their work is second to none.
Gerry and Bradley have also been able to help us get our kitchen and other materals at a considerable discount.

My exstension is now at the final fix stage. Everybody has praised DSB for the accurate, detailed and logical plans. The detail impressed the planning department and minimised the need for changes and expensive delays. It's clear, DSB's attention to detail pays off.
Simply put, Dave and DSB got it right first time, saving us money.
