Rosedene is a new five bedroom detached house which replaced an old bungalow in Chelmsford, Essex.
This was a complex site which required major excavations and an engineer to design a retaining wall to ensure the development was a success. At the time this property needed to achieve Code Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. We ensured it met this standard and obtained both the planning and building control approval for the property.
We also dealt with the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) to measure the energy efficiency of the new house to ensure it met the building regulations requirements. We also dealt with the Party Wall Act on the clients behalf.
